Welcome to CustomGradient ("the Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

CustomGradient is a client-side web application that generates visual color gradients based on user-provided text. The Service is provided for creative and informational purposes only.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind.

2. User Input & Responsibility

You are responsible for any text you enter into the Service. You represent that you have the right to use any names or text you submit.

We do not review, moderate, or store user input, and we are not responsible for how generated output is used.

3. Ownership of Output

You own the visual output (gradients) you generate using the Service.

However:

• We do not guarantee uniqueness or exclusivity.
• The same or similar inputs may produce similar outputs for different users.
• CustomGradient retains all rights to the underlying code, algorithms, and system used to generate gradients.

4. Payments & Tips

CustomGradient may offer optional, voluntary tips to support the project.

• Tips are not required to use the Service.
• Tips are processed securely by Stripe.
• All tips are non-refundable.
• Tipping does not grant additional rights, features, or ownership beyond what is described in these Terms.
• CustomGradient does not store or process payment information directly.

5. Analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics provided by our hosting platform to understand general usage patterns and improve the Service. These analytics do not identify individual users.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CustomGradient shall not be liable for any damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or misuse of generated output.

7. Changes & Termination

We may update or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
